Since 2003, IMGM Laboratories is accredited according to the international standards
DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 entitled "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".
This accreditation covers all requirements that "testing and calibration laboratories" have to meet.

Application of a quality system, technical competence and potential to generate technically valid results are essential criteria to achieve accreditation.
The DACH GmbH – Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle Chemie GmbH - is the accreditation body that has recognized the competence of IMGM Laboratories. Accreditation awarded by this institution is based on international standards. These standards specify the requirements for sound management as well as for technical competence.
Management requirements contain amongst others policies according to managerial and technical personnel, the structure of the organization, the quality system, the controlling of documents, service, complaints, corrective action, internal audits and management reviews.
Technical requirements include policies regarding accommodation and environmental conditions, test and calibration methods, method validation, equipment, handling of test and calibration items, quality assurance of test and calibration results and reporting.
